Men Needed

The mystery was made known to me by revelation. (Ephesians 3:3 ESV)

As we take account of the situation today we feel more and more deeply convinced that the greatest need of the hour is for men of vision and courage. But we use the word "vision" in the specific sense in which it is used in the Bible and not in the general sense, of enterprise. That is, what is needed above all else is men who have had a Divine revelation by the Holy Spirit in their own hearts as to God's purpose in this dispensation, and the particular Divine emphasis for the present hour. There can be much enthusiasm and zeal put behind a more or less generally conceived idea of what needs to be done, with a resultant activity and "movement." The opposite of this, and that which we are seeing to be so much more needed, is a burdening of the hearts of "chosen vessels" with God's own most pressing concern at this time, resulting in an all-consuming passion which will accept all the cost of its realization....
There are very few men in our day of whom it can be truly said, "That man has had a revelation from God." There is all the difference between being saved and then going into Christian service with the resultant studying of the Bible, the preparation of sermons, addresses, lessons; collecting material, mastering themes and subjects; etc., etc., and giving this out as required or as opportunity affords – there is all the difference between this and an open heaven, an anointing, a revelation by the Holy Spirit. It is the difference between our laboring to get, in order to meet a constantly recurring demand, and the Holy Spirit continually revealing Christ in us. This is a general difference, but it is a very great one, and it may represent all the difference between bondage and liberty, between limitation and fullness, even between Life and death in ministry. But this is not our particular point. The need of the hour is not only for a higher spiritual level of ministry in general, it is for men with a specific revelation which will meet the situation as it is now.

By T. Austin-Sparks from: The Need of the Hour

One thing God has been showing us out here is that no matter what our past experience has been it has no relevance for today.  We have never experienced being with these people before. (I paraphrased that from Frank Viola)

Another thing is that we can "play" church and do it well, but if Christ isn't the center then it WILL fall apart.  That also has to be on a personal level. May we all get a deeper revelation of Christ this week.

Things are going well here.  It was so nice to have Joy, Marlene, Nathanael, Rachel, Frank and Simchah out here.  They brought Life and encouraging news.  Not long now! We will be flying over to see everyone soon!

Keep us in your prayers, my work situation is undergoing changes as of today and I'm not sure what that means yet.  I might be job hunting soon. The saints here are doing great.

Sorry this is short....Goddnight friends.

Met with other groups

This past Sunday we met with two other home church groups at the park near our house. It went well. Ayala and I had to leave early for Autumn's last ballet performance unfortunately. We just sat and talked with each other or small groups of people. One man was a pastor for 28 years. Another group was possibly losing their meeting place and talked about coming to our gathering. We shall see what God wants to do. Most of the people are older, which is fine. But there was one guy closer to our age that we have met a few times before. He is Ukranian and really has a heart for God. He came to one of our gatherings and his contribution added life. We really liked him being there. His wife doesn't speak very much english but she came with their 3 children. Apparently their boys loved the Dickerson boys so much, they were waving goodbye until the van was out of sight. I'm sure we will see them again.

The heart of a disciple

As I ride the train this morning I am in awe of how God works. Over and over I have watched the importance of sharing what is on our hearts with our brothers and sisters. Even when I dont think that my work situation is worth sharing, it allows others to give their part. Sometimes its a similar situation, but even better is the words of encouragment to stay steadfast in the promises of our Lord.

Then there was the time that Ariel shared at a gathering even when opposition was trying to stop her, that a very dear but weary disciple was touched by God.  It was amazing how Ariel talked about what God was doing in her life and all of a sudden this desert weary and hardened heart melted and she realized that she found what she had been looking so long for. Up until that last testimony shared though, she thought we were just one more group claiming to be a church. Just a simple testimony, but so much more in the hands of Christ.

And finally a brother I really like came on Sunday and shared about how he feals like God wants him to experience the love of God and stand in that. Own it and not just believe the principle of that truth. It sounds simple as I type it, but when someone brings the word of God, you feel fed. It was like that. The Word had visited us through the seemingly simple thoughts or struggle of his week.

So I share this to remind people to not hold back the Word from each other.

Praise God, Rick and Katie are moved in! Ayala and I walked down there last night and hung out untill 11. It was so nice.  Keep us in your prayers.

The Church in California

This is Ayala...

I have been very reluctant to call any gathered group of people the Church since growing up in a group of people who demonstrated the body of Christ better than any other place I have seen. At least in America.  So, I am saying all this to say, that it's not a light thing for me to say that God is building His church out here in California.

This morning we had a gathering and I hardly have a way to describe how amazing it was to watch God in our midst, building His church right in front of our eyes.  It isn't anything that we are doing.  No special teachers or strategic planning on our part.  I just feel like we get to show up and "be" part of an awesome body of Christ that gets revealed more as more of His body comes into place.  Each person has a unique part that adds, and slowly His bride is being revealed to us.  I guess I'm so excited, because growing up in the body of Christ I took for granted that we were brought together in Tennessee to be His bride.  I never saw the miracle that it truly is.  Now, after spending almost 5 years in Memphis and visiting several other churches and even some home groups, I know how much of a miracle and blessing it really is.  I can't believe I get to be here to witness and participate in the church He is building in California now.  When we come together the Spirit is with us.  (If you are reading this, please pray for us as we come together, because the opposition increases as we do so.)  I love all the people here.  They are filling my heart.  Now I can see why Noah has to go back to Africa, for the rest of his heart!  I am so grateful to be chosen by my Father to be a part of His beautiful bride.

Gavins 11th Birthday

It's hard to believe it was 11 years two days ago that I became a father. Little did I know how proud of a father I would be today. We had a small party with a few gifts the night before. Then we went to the north Tahoe area near Truckee. We spent a few hours sledding and having fun at a sno-park. I'm gonna cut this short and get some sleep.

4.18.12

Wow! Time flies when you are busy. Alot has happened since my last post. I will give you some of the headlines that I can remember.

At one of our gatherings Paul F. talked about the new Jerusalem and living stones. He imagined those living stones to be like crystal. I had never thought of that. Then, Ayala mentioned that if the stones were clear then everyone looking in would see Christ. I had just read My Utmost on March 25th and he talks about not attracting attention away from Christ but being a friend of the bridegroom. Then Colleen talked about Hag 1:4

"Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses while this house lies desolate."

She felt like God was speaking this to her. It showed in a meeting weeks later. She also bragged on her husband John who went and cleared up a five year old grudge with a friend. Let me add here that John has come alive the last month or two. He is a great asset here.

Abba and Amma came and we had a great time with them. We could feel them being here for us, and that was special. We had good talks and asked all the questions we could think of. It was a very refreshing time and Abba did a great job of building us up and equipping the saints. He spoke as only he can at the meetings we had and it produced an environment that allowed people to open up. John shared some, Collen asked the women if they wanted her. She could see the love between them and wanted to be with them. Those are the highlights I remember at the moment. Our love feast went late but it was FULL. The love of the brethren was demonstrated and God showed up. Tim left full and proclaiming that God was definately there. A young couple and their daughter were there to watch as it turned out. It was so good.

OK, Rick has been house shopping. He found the house, put in a bid, declared at the gathering that God told him that the house was his. Katie also shared a scripture God gave her that same morning. Before we left, Rick recieved an email saying they went with another offer. He refers to this as the darkest night of his soul. So, Monday is men's mtg night. David and I try to encourage Rick for quite a while to no avail. Then Tim started talking and you could feel the peace coming and David brought a word that gave us all peace. It was about Rick not being alone, but it being a corporate struggle. After that we chatted some more and I ended up going after something Rick said about giving people God and it was gross and stunk of self righteousness. As soon as I got done God started to prick my conscience and as soon as we got in the van to leave David made sure I didn't miss that prick. I ended up calling Rick before we got home to get clear. It was embarrassing to say the least but a learning experience none the less. The most encouraging part was watching Tim bring what was needed that night. Then later he commented on how he felt the peace after David had talked. He is becoming sensitive to the Spirit! We can't teach him that! He is changing almost daily. He has always wanted to be a godly man and God is giving that to him. It is awesome to watch.

Back to the house. The other offer fell through, Rick bartered with the bank and he took their counter offer. then his "pre-approved loan" fell through. Then he got that fixed and we are back on schedule for the beginning of May. Whew. We are so excited to be two blocks from Rick and Katie very soon.

I am watching God save His people and call them together. We are participating some but I feel more like a spectator. Each part is giving to the other and unity is getting stronger. Our last men's mtg the other night was the best one yet. ALL the men were there including James who has been out with a back injury all during Abba's visit. It felt like Satan was trying to distract us with phone calls and Paul F. had a dead battery in his car that he had to replace and got there late. And this was his first men's mtg. John came looking for godly advice and we had a great time of prayer. You could feel the togetherness.

We are so encouraged about what God is doing in RCV and we can feel it over here. It seemed like after y'all got new vision after the Faithful retreat, things were released over here. We also see the opposition coming at us too. Please pray for the church over here. Satan isn't going to sit by and let this be easy. We need you to carry us in your hearts and pray when ever you feel the urge.

Just an FYI - Today I rode the light rail to work! I bike 3.5 miles and spend $5 round trip. 30 minutes on the train and a 5 minute bike ride to work. So, it takes 1 hour to get to work instead of 35- 45 but it's alot cheaper and much more peaceful. Well, I am tired and I have to leave at 6:00 now to catch to train. I will try to write again soon.

3.06.12

It's been awhile, so real quick update here. Work has been slow. The last two weeks totaled just over 40 hrs but I feel like God is in control. I said before I left that if God was sending me out here he would take care of me too. My faith is strengthened as I hear the stories of George Muller read to the children for devotionals. (Coincidence? I think not.) I have to remember I gave up sovereignty over my life and I am now an instrument in His hands. It has been a great faith builder, I have all I need and He wants me put more trust in Him. Work has been fun as I learn more everyday and do things I have never done. Mostly doing veneer work with hide glue. Each repair or job is different and creative.

The kids are growing up and doing well. Gavin fell out of a tree today and sprained his wrist. Autumn loves to play with Tristan and Naomi is starting to get along with River. Of course with Journey's arrival we have all been busy. I have been taking the boys to explore when I can. Last weekend we went to try some fishing. No luck. But we found a "large puddle" that was about 2 ft deep and it had minnows in it. So the boys caught 15 minnows, got all wet, and we put them in the pool to eat the misquito larvae until we clean it out for swimming.

James, Claudia and Elianna, their 4 yr old daughter, moved close to us in Folsom and we have been enjoying getting to know them. Rick and Katie are still looking for a house nearby. Please pray God's will be done there. And Tim is doing very well. Others are wanting more fellowship outside of the Sunday meeting and relationships are being formed. Things are going well. His people are gathering in CA. We miss everyone and can't wait until Ingathering. We are planning to trek over for that, Lord willing.

HVGD

Last week I was at work and I started complaining about the bids being unrealistic for us in the shop to meet. Each bid has a spec sheet and each step of the work is spelled out with a certain amount of minutes applied. So we try to beat those times but still do a good job. The other worker and I were discussing this problem and I must admit, I had some opinions. Shortly after my soap box speech, I felt convicted of complaining. I was reminded of reading Exodus and the children of Israel complaining to Moses that they could have thirsted to death in Egypt instead of the wilderness! It's amazing that after all they saw, they could say that. But here I was, after all He has done for me, looking at things naturally and losing my faith over such a small matter. I immediately repented and gave back the reins to Him and felt peace again. An hour or so later the shop manager asked me to come to the office. There was an antique desk that had just come in that some movers had dropped and he wanted my estimate on time frame. Not only did he listen, he added time to my times! As I went to eat my lunch I realized that God was already taking care of the problem and I just needed to seek first the kingdom and leave the rest to Him. EVEN MY PAY RATE! (Which is based on performance with the bid times.) That is not easy, but it's funny how much peace I get when I let Him be in control, and still I harden my heart and take over. Later that week I was praying for Shammah and the term graft vs host disease came to mind. Then I thought, "That's my problem! I'm suffering from host vs graft disease." Now, from what I could remember from science in grade school, the host carried other forms of life and they formed a symbiotic relationship. My problem was that I was fighting the Life that Christ was offering me to have.

I got my hair cut by someone David met, and while I was in the chair, I briefly shared about moving to CA. He commented on how it must've taken alot of faith to make a move like that. I thought about it later and realized it wasn't hard at all really. I had the backing of the church, people I talked to were supportive, and God had provided the funds in such a way that it was obvious that He was wanting me to go. So, I moved across the country and He continued to make it obvious that we were in His will. Where faith really has to come in, is at work when it doesn't look like I'll make much money for a while. Even today I was told the rest of the week looks like I might have some time off because no work has come in for two days. Thankfully the last lesson was still fresh and I actually am looking forward to what God is going to do. Actually, some time off would allow me to get caught up on my Bible reading with Shammah. So, now I just have to walk in that faith when I do go home early, but it's exciting. It makes for great testimonies and more time to seek the Kingdom.

Each one doing their part...

I just want to point out one thing about the "tv" answer to prayer. The Friday before that happened, everyone in the house went to meet the neighbors. They took cookies the children made that day and met the closest neighbors and the lady who brought the tv was one they had met. I don't think that she would have brought that tv without that interaction with us. I say us, but I actually missed it as I was at work. It just stood out to me how the one part of the Body was doing it's part and they all rejoiced in the end. It makes me not want to miss those "parts" I could play in my brother or sister's life.

I also want to encourage anyone looking to do something and be active in building the Kingdom. I recently read the last half of The Good Confession, by Watchman Nee. It talks about witnessing and the importance of prayer in doing that. It really gave me some direction in my ideas of witnessing. There are some neat stories he tells to illustrate his point. So, with all that God has been showing us about prayer, and we all want to witness better, I highly recommend it. It's only 114 pages. I got my copy here

and it says damaged but it's just old smelling.

Well I can not say enough about how God has been so good to us! (By the way this is Ayala, I have been wanting to write for some time now and just tonight Stephen and David got my computer up and running. Yea!) Everything that has happened to us these last few weeks I feel very undeserving of. From the first day we got here there was an electricity in the air!
Stephen has already told the details of our first few days............. ... Arrived on Sunday, signed on a house on Monday, Stephen got a job on Tuesday, we packed on Wednesday, and moved on Thursday! Wow! That was crazy and alot of work. It's a good thing we were all taught to love work! So these last three weeks have been fun, challenging, and very encouraging.
Here is my most favorite recent story from our adventures in California.
Stephen started his job and has been working for 2 weeks now. He was only told it would be part time until the busy season hit, but so far they have had plenty of work for him. It's crazy because everything he has been doing in this new wood shop has been out of his field of knowledge. So, he has been to the library for books and praying that God guides him as he recarves old clocks etc. Just last week he saw some old VHS tapes at his work that would help him learn some stuff but unfortunately had no way of using since we left our TV behind, and Ariel and David just use their computers. He then asked God to provide a TV seeing we didn't have money for one. Two days later on Sunday our neighbor (Who we met on Friday) pulls up and delivers a very nice TV to our front door saying she had no use for it anymore and wanted to know if we wanted it! I answered the door and told her, "sure we would love to have it,"not even knowing Stephen had prayed for one.
I wish you could have seen Stephen's face when he came in from working in the garage and we told him someone had just given us a TV! He looked at us with such amazement and said, "You're kidding! I just asked God for one 2 days ago !" Alot of people were still at our house hanging out after the gathering and we all got to witness the goodness of our Father, how he sees all our little needs, and never is in our debt.
It feels like as we step out in faith and obey Him, His miracles never end. We have been so blessed and our faith is being strengthened like crazy!
Last Saturday and Sunday we prayed together for a close house for Rick and Katie. We are seeing more and more of them as the desire to be together grows. I fully expect God to reveal His plan for a house for them as well and show Himself mighty! We can't wait!

A job too?!!! Am I dreaming?

Today is Tuesday and David went to San Francisco for a conference about web graphics designers and I had a job interview at 10. After yesterday I had renewed faith that God was in control in a very tangible way. When I first started thinking about moving to CA I did a web search for antique repair shops in Sacramento. I love that field of work and was hoping to do it again, knowing that it was no accident I was able to work for Robert Johnson. I found Craftsman Furniture Service online and liked their website. They advertised keeping things original and quality workmanship. So, I emailed them to let them know I was moving to the area and would love to work in that field if they were ever hiring. At that point I was confident I had found the place to work and quit looking. The owner emailed me asking for more info on my experience. I replied and didn't hear back. Some time later I emailed again to see what was next and he replied that he was actually hoping I was a prospective buyer for his business. Well, that's not an option, so I talked to Robert Johnson about starting my own business. He was positive about it and I was encouraged. Later, I received an email from a Human Resources company that was helping Craftsman hire some workers. This was before Christmas. The HR lady called and we talked for over an hour and she was interested in me moving and the church I am a part of. She asked lots of questions. At the end she told me that the company was in a time of transition and there wasn't an immediate opening that she could fill with a phone interview. But there was the possibility of taking a color test once I moved to try for a finish touch up position.

So, today I drove up at 10:00 and walked in. I met the owner and the shop manager was busy. Steve gave me a tour of the shop and showed me some of the pieces they had repaired. When his shop manager was done we all three sat down to talk. The manager asked me how much experience I had and was shocked that I had just made it to town and was already looking for work. He said I came highly recommended from the HR lady and from my emails he was willing to start me today. But this is the slow time for the business. Right then Steve informed his manger that he had a stack of jobs on his desk to go over with him. So, they talked right there about Steve tutoring me at first and that I could start as soon as next week. I got to tell them about signing for a house and how I felt like I was supposed to work for them. From what I could tell, this business is built on top quality work and they have a good reputation in northern CA including being the only shop in the state certified to use shellac. Shellac is one of the finishes used very commonly on antiques. That was a huge confirmation for me. Not to mention just liking everyone I met there. Steve, the owner, even mentioned that it seemed like God was doing things here and up north where he is involved with another job opportunity. He is helping develop a water-based stripper that can be used in CA. So, I start next week on a part time basis at first. I'm sure your not surprised that I was happy with that, and expect things to work out exactly as God wants them to. So, that's the latest. This has taken two days to get done, so I will stop here. PRAISE GOD! He is making it quite obvious that He is in charge and interested in His people being gathered together, because there the blessing is given, LIFE forevermore!

A house in less than 24 hrs?!!!

The next day we had a home cooked breakfast, mmmmmmm. I called Craftsman Restoration to let the owner know that I had made it to town and was interested in meeting with him. The phone interview I had before Christmas with the HR lady he uses was very positive and she had told me to contact him once i got to town. I talked to his new shop manager and we set to meet at 10 a.m. on Tuesday. So, we went to see the home in Orangevale which is 25 minutes from where David's house is. The owner was a very nice lady and showed us the whole house. We were standing in the backyard when she asked me about my employment. I told her I had an interview the next day. She said, " Oh, ok." I thought for sure that wasn't going to be good enough to rent the house so I offered that I had thought about plumbing if that didn't work out. She still didn't seem concerned at all. Let me stop here and preface this part of the story:

David and Ariel had already looked at this house several days ago. There was someone looking at it before them and someone waiting when they left. There was no application fee since it was an owner and not a property management. So we figured we would give it a go even though all my financial info was packed in the trailer in my desk. David filled out my application for me and emailed them. A few days later he called to see if she had received the email. She had not received them so he corrected the email and sent them. Then she called the night we got in and asked if we wanted to look at the house because we were the first ones to get in our application and she was getting several calls about the house since then.

Ok, so then we walk in the house and she tells us about all the calls she has been getting and asks if we want the house or not. I was speechless, I didn't even have time to think. I was caught totally off guard and didn't know what to say. I knew then that she must REALLY like us and even trust us. (That was God!) She had mentioned choosing tenants for who they are and not their credit score during our talks. So, I agreed we should jump on it and we set up a meeting with her to sign the lease and pay the fees. Rick's wife Katie was there when Jan was telling us where to meet her and found out she lived only about a mile from David now. Katie was shocked. I think she saw that as another confirmation that this was really God. So, not only did Jan agree to rent us the house, but there was an above ground pool the previous tenant would leave if we wanted it. You also have to know that the back yards here are smaller than the yard we had in Memphis even before we joined the yards. Most of the houses that David has looked at were small or really small, more like a strip of grass. But this yard is about the size of the two yards combined in Memphis and has a concrete patio and basketball goal, a pool, a place for a garden, and a patio area with a canopy right outside the master bedroom! So, we not only get a house with 5 bedrooms and 3 baths, but we get a pool the kids can't fall in, a place to garden, play and relax outdoors! And as if that wasn't enough, the prior tenant has a trampoline that still had to be hauled off. So, David told Jan we would buy it if the tenant didn't want to move it. So, we received an email from Jan saying we could HAVE the trampoline! The pads and net were in the garage and it looked to be in great shape! David told us that during dinner and then explained that his boys have been praying for a trampoline for over a year! WHO IS LIKE OUR GOD?!!! At that point we all quit eating and all the kids sat in a circle thanking God for all He had done. God is definatly not leaving any place for doubt as to whether or not He wants us there. David and I went to the men's mtg to meet with Rick and Tim and I tried to stay awake. What a day! Thursday is our moving day and I am already packed! We are shopping for a washer, dryer and fridge on craigslist with the left over money we had saved for the deposit and rent. Jan pro rated January for us so we have a few hundred left for appliances. God thought of everything! The ladies were already shopping online while we were at Rick's.

Our Journey to CA

Well, there is so much to be thankful for. We had a great trip over. Driving really drove home how far from home we really are. New Mexico was my favorite state for scenery with Arizona a close second. We stopped at the welcome center for each state and got the hotel coupon books to save money. That worked great until the weekend. But even then the last hotel quoted me $10 more than they charged me the next morning at check out. Oh well, maybe I heard them wrong. One thing that was interesting was the change of culture and people. In Texas we first noticed the ability to see for miles but there were no buildings in sight. That was pretty common from Texas on. We stayed in Oklahoma and Ayala said the cowboys were huge and everyone had on boots. In New Mexico we saw the casinos and indian territory. At one truck stop Ayala felt like a tall foreigner in the women's restroom. That part of the trip reminded me of Asher and it gave me a new respect for his courage in taking his family to Mexico. Just driving through the west made me feel like we had left the USA. Arizona was our sight seeing part of the trip and we dropped off the trailer at the hotel and headed for the Grand Canyon. WOW!! I won't try to describe the awe you experience when you see the handy work of our Father. We got pictures and drove the desert rim, I think it was, and stopped at all the lookouts. The last lookout had a watchtower and the stars were coming out with a close to full moon. Bummer it was dark, but hey, how many people stick around to see the stars and canyon in moonlight? Then the long drive back to the hotel, 1 1/2 hrs. We ate at a mexican restauraunt until 9 or so and then went to bed. The food was great! But we were too tired to even see Dean and Yiskah who were 10 minutes down the road. Once the canyon was seen we were ready to finish the trip. We started to see the desert then. We ate lunch at a rest stop in the desert. I looked over and saw a sign that read,"Poisonous snakes and insects inhabit this area." Well, that's all the prompt I needed. After I ate I went for a walk to explore the desert. We all walked after our meal and stopped by the facilities on our way to the truck. I noticed an RV that was leaning really bad and had a cardboard sign that read,"NEED TIRE, GOD BLESS." So Gavin and I went to find out. One of his tires was only the rim with some rubber shred hanging off. The guy looked close to homeless and the RV was pretty dirty and old. He was reading a western romance novel on the step. We chatted and I only had $1 in my pocket so we ran to the truck to see what else we had. I gave him a ten and Gavin got out his wallet to provide a five. The man said the people who maintain the rest area said they would give him a ride to get a tire when he had the money. So, with so much time spent in one place we jumped in the truck and took off. The California border was a short time later and we were excited. Then the vehicle inspection. They stop all the vehicles entering the state to find out if you have any fruit, cut wood, or outdoor furniture like a grill... We had some oranges and had to pull them out of the snack bag to confirm they were CA produce. They were, so they let us pass. Well, the desert seemed to go on and on and on and on. Then all of a sudden Ayala asked me if I got the cooler and bag after lunch. Cooler? Bag? Ooops. The new scenery and then the tire guy totally distracted me. I hope he got the food and knives, cutting board, ziplocks and cooler. Good thing for us we were down to the last of our meals in the cooler and we can replace the other things pretty easily. That put a small damper on the day, but we tried to think maybe someone needed it more than us. Maybe the tire guy will get it. The desert stretched on and gave us new meaning to the readings in Genesis. As dark fell we finally entered the mountains that divided the desert from the orchards and farmland. Bakersfield was finally in view and we stopped for the night. Ate at a burger joint accross the street and went to bed dreaming of home cooked meals. The last day was without problem just like the rest of the trip. We drove past all the orchards and vineyards and smelled all the wierd smells. Finally, we drove down 48th St and found David's house. The boys ran out at full speed and Rick and Tim were right behind them, walking that is. We met Rick's son Noah and stood outside talking for a few minutes. Rick and Tim left after a while and we all went to the park a block away. It was nice to get out of the truck and walk around. The boys played baseball and basketball. The babies enjoyed the swings. When we got home the neighbor boys were there to meet us with their new cap guns. Dinner was awesome. David returned the call of a lady that he had sent applications for a house and she wanted to know if everyone made it in town and asked if we would like to see the house. So, we set up to meet her at 10:30 a.m.
